Universal Pictures’ horror film “Halloween Kills” received a $50.4 million opening result in the first weekend of the simultaneous streaming media Peacock.
This box office far exceeded expectations of 30 million U.S. dollars, and it set a record for the opening of R-rated movies during the epidemic.
Ridley Scott’s medieval history film “The Last Duel” failed at the North American box office.
Its first weekend of three days only accounted for 4.8 million US dollars, ranking fifth in the rankings.
