Paramount today announced that “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, originally scheduled to be released on June 24 next year, will be postponed to June 9, 2023.
“Star Trek 4”, originally scheduled for this schedule, was postponed to December 22, 2023.

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” was written by Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt, starring Ron Perlman and Anthony Ramos.
The film will continue the story line of the 3D animated series “Beast Wars: Transformers” released in the late 1990s.
Since “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” was released after Michael Bay’s five “Transformers” and “Bumblebee”, fans commonly referred to the film as “Transformers 7”.
The filming of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” just ended last month. Set shots of director Steven Caple Jr. and Optimus Prime and Bumblebees before the transformation.
Paramount did not explain the reason for the one-year delay.
