Hulu’s new drama “Pam & Tommy” starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, has released character posters and will air on February 2.
The protagonists are a very topical ex-couple in real life: actress & model Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue drummer & musician Tommy Lee.
Their romance has been tabloided over the years, including the famous scandal: the two’s honeymoon sex/love tape was stolen and made public online.
Focusing on the theft of the tape, the show will also detail Anderson and Lee’s flashy romance: they married in 1995, 96 hours after they met.
The leak of the sex/love tape has since turned into a pretty heated legal battle, with Anderson suing the distribution company, with which Lee reached a secret settlement.
The company has since resumed exposing the tapes to subscribers to its website, causing a surge in traffic.
“Pam & Tommy” was written by Robert D. Siegel, with Seth Rogen as the thief and producer, and Craig Gillespie directed it. It consists of eight episodes.
