In “Space Force Season 1”, Nelder, in order to keep the Space Force, agrees to send astronauts from both sides back to Earth in a capsule.
Because of this matter, Washington may feel ashamed, so it plans to clean up the Space Force, and even plans to oust General Nelder.
However, at the hearing, several members of the Space Force managed to sneak in, keeping the Space Force and General Nelder’s position.
Even so, Washington hasn’t allayed its doubts about General Nelder and his Space Force.

For Washington, the Space Force is a piece of cake, not only costing a lot of money, but basically generating no revenue. As soon as this account is calculated, it is known that it is a loss-making business. For Washington, the best thing now is to shut down the Space Force.
Since there is no reasonable way to clear the Space Force all at once, Washington has resorted to a delaying tactic.
They agreed that General Nelder would remain in office, but demanded substantial cuts, not even the Mars mission.
Washington has even begun to look for candidates to replace General Nelder.
Although the Space Force was lucky enough to get through, but the bigger enemy is ready to move, and this enemy is the bad Washington.
