The FX limited series “Pistol” focusing on the legendary punk rock band Sex Pistols released stills, and announced the broadcast date: May 31 to launch on Hulu.
Based on the band’s guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir “Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol”, Danny Boyle (“Slumdog Millionaire””Trainspotting”) directed all six episodes.
Toby Wallace as Jones, Louis Partridge as Sid Vicious, Anson Boon as John Lydon, newcomer Jacob Slater as Paul Cook, Fabien Frankel as Glen Matlock and Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”) as “Jordan” Pamela Rooke.
Craig Pearce (“Moulin Rouge”) is executive producer and co-writer with Frank Cottrell Boyce (“24 Hour Party People”), with Jones himself serving as executive producer.
