The family action comedy series “Untitled Spy Kids Reboot” will be rebooted from Netflix in collaboration with original creator Robert Rodriguez, who is director, writer and producer.
The original series has a total of four, with a global box office of more than 550 million US dollars. The first one was released in 2001 and starred Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Alexa Vega, and Daryl Sabara.
It tells the story of Gregorio and Ingrid, who were once the best agents in the world. They fell in love on a mission while working for a hostile force, and then went into hiding and started a family.
A few years later, evil forces forced them to return to the arena. Unexpectedly, the two were kidnapped. Their children, Carmen and Juni, must overcome many difficulties to save their parents and the world.
The plot of the new film is unknown and will introduce a new family of agents.
