Korean version of “Argo” “Escape from Mogadishu” First Exposure Trailer.
The first trailer of the new film “Escape from Mogadishu” has been exposed.
This film based on real events will be released in South Korea on July 28. It is the most watched Korean blockbuster in this summer.
“Escape from Mogadishu” is adapted from a real event, but this event did not appear in the history of South Korea’s diplomacy, but a re-creation by the creators who applied the history of other countries to their own movies.
The film tells the story of the diplomats of the Korean Embassy in South Korea who were left alone and fleeing because of the civil war in Somalia in the 1990s.
The plot and style are similar to the 2013 Oscar best film “Argo”, with nearly 98% of the scenes filmed overseas.
The year that appeared in the trailer was 1991, and the other military blockbuster “Black Hawk Down” that took place in Somalia took place in 1993.
At the beginning of this year, “Escape from Mogadishu” and “Alien” directed by Choi Dongxun ranked first among the “Most Anticipated Movies of 2021” selected by 20 Korean film experts.
