Jeff Fowler, the director of two “Sonic” live-action films, said he would love to bring “Super Smash Bros.” to the screen, but it would be difficult.
In an interview with comicbook, Jeff Fowler was asked if he would consider directing a film based on Nintendo’s work due to Sonic’s presence in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.”
“No one excites me more than putting all the characters from different series together to do one big thing,” Fowler replied, though he also admitted that it wasn’t easy, “if it could happen, probably Lawyers are needed to do some work.”
“Let’s put Mario and Sonic in the ring and everyone’s going to die of excitement, right? Right?”
“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” is currently in theaters in Northern America, and a third “Sonic the Hedgehog” is already in production.
