Angela Bassett joins the new Netflix fantasy film “Damsel”, which stars Millie Bobby Brown. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“The Salvation””28 Weeks Later”) directed, Dan Mazeau (“Wrath of the Titans”) wrote the script.
Brown plays Princess Elodie, who thinks she’s going to marry Prince Henry, only to find out that she’ll be sacrificed to a dragon, and she must try to survive, waiting to be rescued – and no one will come to her.
Bassett plays Mrs. Bedford, Elodie’s stepmother.
