Recently, Zack Snyder announced on social media that the filming of the new film “Rebel Moon” directed by him has officially started, and a number of character modeling photos and set photos have been exposed.
The sci-fi film, starring Sofia Boutella (“Kingsman”), Jena Malone (“Donnie Darko”), Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, “Cyborg” Ray Fisher, and more, is scheduled to hit Netflix in 2023.

The film tells the story of a colony on the edge of the galaxy threatened by the army of a tyrant named Balisarius, desperate people send a young woman with a mysterious past to find warriors from a neighboring planet to help them gain a foothold.
Zack Snyder has said that this idea was influenced by Akira Kurosawa and “Star Wars”, hoping to become a huge IP and create a new universe.
