Director Ziren Wen posted photos on social media, “Aquaman 2” officially announced the start of filming!
Judging from the ice and snow scenes behind the board, this episode is likely to involve Atlan, the story of Sea King’s father in the comics.
The official English film title is (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, etc.) come back to star, and will be released in North America on December 16 next year.

In the comics, Atlan was set to be the father of the sea king and the sea lord. Atlan was born hundreds of years ago and is the second son of Honsu, King of Atlantis.
Since “Aquaman 2”, Sea King Arthur Curry has been modified to be half-human and half-Atlantis, the description of Atlan in “Aquaman 2” will also be modified.
