The HBO limited series “Irma Vep” starring Alicia Vikander and directed and written by Olivier Assayas has released stills. It will be broadcast on June 6, after it will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Based on the film of the same name starring Maggie Cheung and written and directed by Assayas, “Irma Vep” tells the story of the heroine Mira, an American movie star who is disillusioned with her career and has just ended a relationship.

Shortly after she traveled to France to play the role of Irma Vep in the remake of the 1915 French classic film The Vampire, she gradually found that the distinction between herself and the character began to blur and merge.
