At CinemaCon 2022 today, Sony confirmed that “Venom 3” and the 2021 “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” sequel are in the works.
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is the sequel to the 1980s sci-fi comedy “Ghostbusters”.
It tells the story of a young brother and sister who followed their mother to the countryside. However, a series of strange and strange things happened in this remote and quiet town. A mysterious man who claimed to study paranormal phenomena appeared quietly.
The film’s global box office reached 197 million US dollars, the results are acceptable, and it is logical to lead to a sequel.
“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” was released in October last year and tells the story of the “best partners” of the alien symbiote “Venom” and its host Eddie (Tom Hardy), who meet the deadly villain symbiote Carnage (Woody Harrelson), the story of the fateful confrontation between the two sides.
The film’s global box office exceeded 500 million US dollars, but it was not as good as 2018’s “Venom”‘s 850 million US dollars, and its reputation was not as good as the latter.
