David Ayer will direct the action thriller “The Bee Keeper” starring Jason Statham, with Kurt Wimmer (“Law Abiding Citizen” “Salt”) writing the script and Miramax running it, with plans for a series.
“The Bee Keeper” is steeped in beekeeping mythology and tells the story of a man’s quest for revenge. His identity is revealed to have been an agent of a powerful secret organization called “The Bee Keeper” and will take a national risk.
