Alexis Bledel announces his exit from “The Handmaid’s Tale”. She has played a major role in the series since its first season, Emily Malek/Ofglen, and has now revealed to “Variety” that she will not be returning for a fifth season.
Bledel didn’t say why, but said the decision to leave was after careful consideration, and expressed gratitude to the show’s creator, Bruce Miller and Hulu, MGM, the cast and the entire crew.
