Since “Jurassic Park” in 1993, this series has captured the hearts and eyes of both adults and children audiences for nearly 30 years with different dinosaurs of various sizes and poses.
I still remember the roar of Tyrannosaurus with short forelimbs that penetrated the sky in Jurassic Park, and Compsognathus besieged the little girl who was not vigilant because of its small size and danger.
Velociraptor Bru and Tyrannosaurus teamed up to drive Indominus Rex into the water, Mosasaurus devoured Pteranodon and the humans in its mouth with one mouth, and the giant Brachiosaurus wailed while standing on the smoking dock abandoned by humans.
In the first two “Jurassic World” films of the new century, 20 kinds of dinosaurs were highlighted.
Flying in the sky, running on the ground, swimming in the water, there is always one that is your favorite.
Velociraptor
Carnivorous, 1.68-1.83 meters high, 3-4 meters long, weighing 150 kg
Velociraptor has stealth ability and cunning ability, is relatively smart, has teamwork ability, and is good at teamwork.
In the first three “Jurassic Park” movies, the Velociraptor was an out-and-out villain.
The Velociraptor’s position in “Jurassic World” has changed. Among the four Velociraptors raised by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), the one named Blue joined Tyrannosaurus to kill the genetically modified Indominus Rex.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Owen and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) also worked hard to save Blue, losing Tyrannosaurus’ blood to it in order to keep it alive.
In “Jurassic World: Dominion” Blue has a child, and its story continues.
Brachiosaurus
Herbivorous, 18-20 meters high, 26-30 meters long, weighing 38-64 tons
Brachiosaurus was one of the largest and heaviest dinosaurs to ever appear on Earth, known for its massive forelimbs and giraffe-like neck.
Brachiosaurus, the tallest of the full-skeleton dinosaurs ever excavated, could stretch its neck like a crane to rip leaves from trees as tall as four stories high, or bow its head to shred low-lying creatures with chisel-like teeth. Ferns.
The difference between Brachiosaurus and other sauropods is that its forelimbs are thicker than its hindlimbs, and its teeth are shaped differently.
In “Jurassic Park”, the children call it “Vegetarian Dragon”, and it appears in the form of a hologram in “Jurassic World”.
And in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, the real Brachiosaurus appeared, and they ran as fast as they could in the face of the erupting volcano.
Before being engulfed in smoke, the Brachiosaurus, seen 25 years ago by Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), stood on two feet and let out its final cry of destruction.
Triceratops
Herbivorous, 3 meters high, 8-9 meters long, weighs 7-13 tons
Triceratops were among the last dinosaurs to appear, with very large head shields and three horns reminiscent of modern rhinos.
Their three horns and head shields have long been thought to be used as weapons against predators, but recent theories suggest that these structures may have been used in courtship and displays of dominance.
Although Triceratops are often described as gregarious animals, there is no direct evidence for this.
The unique shape of Triceratops has led to their frequent appearances in movies, computer games, and TV shows, and this dinosaur has been featured in every Jurassic film.
Back in “Jurassic Park”, Dr. Alan Grant found a sick Triceratops in the park.
In “Jurassic World”, human children can touch young Triceratops.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Triceratops also appears among the fleeing dinosaurs.
Eventually, those Triceratops that were shipped to the human world for auction escape into the wild.
Ankylosaurus
Herbivorous, 2-3 meters high, 8 meters long, weighing 4-8.8 tons
Ankylosaurus, whose Latin name means “sturdy lizard,” looked like a living tank, but was a herbivorous dinosaur.
Its upper body is covered with thick scales, with two rows of spines on its back and a pair of horns on top of its head.
Ankylosaurus has a golf club-like tail, short legs, a short neck, and a broad head.
Its bone, nail-like bone plate and hammer-like tail can provide good protection against carnivorous dinosaurs, and it belongs to the last extinct group of dinosaurs.
Ankylosaurus first appeared in “Jurassic Park III”, during “Jurassic World”, two of Claire’s nephews had witnessed Indominus Rex attack a group of ankylosaurus.
The clever Indominus Rex turned Ankylosaurus over (like a tortoise) and bit through its unarmored belly.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, ankylosaurus is also featured in the Escape from the Volcano Eruption, later featured in the Dinosaur Auction, and eventually escapes into the wild.
Stegosaurus
Herbivorous, 4 meters high, 9 meters long, weighs 3.4 tons
Stegosaurus has a large row of bony plates on its back and a dangerous tail with four spikes to defend it from predators.
They inhabit the plains and live in nomadic herds with other herbivores.
Stegosaurus has a sharp bird-like beak that has no teeth but small teeth on the sides of its mouth.
Stegosaurus has a very small head, even smaller than a puppy, so it’s not very smart.
When the temperature drops, Stegosaurus will open the bone plate to absorb the heat of the sun, and when the temperature rises, it will turn the bone plate again and use the cool air to dissipate heat.
Stegosaurus first appeared in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”, and they have been featured in every film in the series since.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, at least one Stegosaurus survived, was caged, and transported to the human world.
One of the Stegosaurus’s teeth was pulled out as a trophy for the latter.
Eventually, these locked Stegosaurus escaped into the wild in the human world.
Parasaurolophus
Herbivorous, 4 meters high, 10 meters long, weighs 4-5 tons
Parasaurolophus’ scientific name means “almost crested lizard”, and its most notable feature is the rod-shaped crest extending from its head, which is longer than other crested dinosaurs.
There is no consensus on the role of the Parasaurolophus crown, but most people believe that the crown should be its sounder, which can be used to call the police or call for help. However, this sounder will vary by age and gender.
Parasaurolophus has strong forelimbs, which can be used to support the body when walking, as well as swim and wading. They are social animals.
This dinosaur has also appeared in every film of the Jurassic series, “Jurassic Park”, following the perspective of the trio of Allen, Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) and Ellie Sattler, we see a group of Parasaurolophus by the lake Drink water.
In “Jurassic World”, Claire’s 2 nephews see two Parasaurolophus fighting.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” dinosaur escape, there are also their presence.
The auctioned Parasaurolophus escaped into the wild after arriving in the human world.
Compsognathus
Carnivorous, 30cm tall, 1m long, weighs 0.83-3.5kg
Described as one of the tiniest dinosaurs, about the size of a chicken, Compsognathus was one of several known for its diet and a close relative of Archaeopteryx.
Compsognathus had long, narrow skulls with large eye sockets, suggesting that their visual system took up more space in the skull, so they likely had good vision.
Compsognathus’ body structure is very suitable for running, they have a long slender tail, and they have great body control and coordination, so they can keep their bodies stable when running.
The teeth are small and sharp, suitable for eating small vertebrates and other creatures such as insects.
“The Lost World: Jurassic Park” begins with the little compsognathus attacking the little girl,
They are also featured in “Jurassic Park III”. This small and dangerous dinosaur is one of the first dinosaurs to appear in Michael Crichton’s original novel.
They returned in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, and were eventually rescued from Isla Nublar by the protagonist and his party, and they also ate some of the humans killed by Tyrannosaurus.
Gallimimus
Herbivorous, 2 meters high, 8 meters long, weighing 160-440 kg
The Compsognathus just now looked like a chicken, and this Gallimimus looked like a giant chicken.
Gallimimus’s skull is much higher than the ground, and its eyes are placed on the sides, making it difficult for him to judge the distance, but his neck can be twisted and he can see all directions.
In real life, they were once thought to be vegetarian dinosaurs. Recent work has revealed that it is an omnivorous animal and eats more meat than vegetarian. The movie uses a “vegetarian” setting.
Gallimimus has appeared in every film in the series except “Jurassic Park III”, where in the first “Jurassic Park” a group of Gallimimus ran past Aaron and two small children, who could reach 60 mph Mai.
Gallimimus took to the street after Indominus Rex in “Jurassic World” created chaos.
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” recreates the classic scene from “Jurassic Park,” where a horde of Gallimimus sprint to escape the eruption.
In the end, the auctioned Gallimimus came to the human world and escaped into the wild.
Pteranodon
Carnivorous, 2m high, 8-10m long, weighs 25kg
Pteranodon is a flying reptile, not a dinosaur.
They have almost no tails, small trunks, and maybe fur, but no feathers.
They had big heads, very good eyesight, no teeth, and probably devoured fish with their mouths like pelicans today.
Pteranodon can flap their wings to fly, and they can also fly long distances, potentially slipping on the surface to feed on fish.
Pteranodon is famous for the tiara on its head, which may have been used for courtship display, or as a rudder, or both.
They were on Sona Island when they debuted in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”.
Pteranodon’s role in “Jurassic Park III” was impressive, but in “Jurassic World”, after the cage was destroyed by Indominus Rex, the Pteranodons who released themselves and attacked tourists even attacked helicopters, killing them Indian park owner who drives a plane.
One of the Pteranodons, along with Claire’s colleagues, became Mosasaurus’ underwater meal.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, three of the Pteranodons that were brought to the human world for auction, flew to Las Vegas.
Tyrannosaurus
Carnivorous, 4 meters high, 13.2 meters long, and weighs 7 tons
Tyrannosaurus is the most famous dinosaur in the world, one of the last dinosaurs to become extinct, and the most stout carnivorous dinosaur.
Tyrannosaurus has very small forelimbs, generally only about 80 cm, which is equivalent to the arm of an adult.
The pair of forelimbs couldn’t reach their mouths, couldn’t touch their own mouths, and couldn’t even reach their feet, probably just balancing their huge heads.
The average bite force of an adult Tyrannosaurus is about 10 tons or more, and they have the largest and most stout and broad head, cervical spine, trunk and hind limbs in the carnivore.
Tyrannosaurus is the soul dinosaur of the Jurassic series, and of course appears in every film.
In “Jurassic Park II”, a Tyrannosaurus was transported to Sona Island and rampaged in San Diego, California, USA.
In “Jurassic Park III”, another Tyrannosaurus was killed by a Spinosaurus.
However, the Tyrannosaurus we can’t forget in the first “Jurassic Park”, not only has survived on the island of Nublar for more than 20 years, it is it that helped the human protagonist defeat Indominus Rex in “Jurassic World”.
It was transported to the human world in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, and he also gave Xiaolan a blood transfusion, from which he escaped into the wild.
Mosasaurus
Meat, 17.6 meters long
Mosasaurus is the largest top predator in the Mesozoic ocean. It has a short history. They are marine reptiles, not dinosaurs.
They have huge heads, strong jaws and sharp teeth, and are shaped like crocodiles with flippers, and they live in shallow seas near shore.
When in action, the body is twisted like a snake, the limbs are flipper-like, and the teeth are conical, large and sharp.
Mosasaurus drove out its competitors in the ocean for 5 million years. They were the most successful predators of marine life and the overlords of the ocean in ancient times.
In “Jurassic World”, visitors can enjoy stunning scenes of Mosasaurus eating and swimming from the lagoon/underwater viewing deck area.
In this film, Mosasaurus eats the babysitter of the children who was caught by Pteranodon, and ultimately, it is Indominus Rex who is fighting Tyrannosaurus.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Mosasaurus eats a reconnaissance submarine, escapes a lagoon in the park, and swims into the ocean depths.
Carnotaurus
Carnivorous, 3-3.6 meters high, 5.8-9 meters long, weighing 1 ton
Because of the two horns on the top of its head, this dinosaur, as its name suggests, is Carnotaurus. It is a high-speed predator that is good at running. It is the fastest large dinosaur known to run at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
With thin calves, high heads, thin tails, and extremely long legs, they are also known as Cretaceous cheetahs.
The horns of the carnivore Carnotaurus are neither large enough nor hard enough to be used as a weapon against an enemy.
Paleontologists speculate that the pair of sharp horns may be a sign of carnotaurus adulthood. On either side of their backs, there are also some semi-conical scales lined up.
In “Jurassic World”, the DNA of the carnivore Carnotaurus was used to create the hybrid Indominus Rex, but the dragon did not appear.
The carnivore Carnotaurus that appeared in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” was bigger and slower than they were in real life, and attacked the spinning glass ball that Owen, Claire and the others were sitting on, or Tyrannosaurus rushed out and killed it.
Among the carnivore Carnotaurus that were transported to the human world for auction, one had a broken horn and a scar on its face. After killing the person with Indominus RexDNA together with Tyrannosaurus, it smashed the DNA sample under its feet, and the rest The carnivorous Carnotaurus fled into the wild.
Stygimoloch
Herbivorous, 2-3 meters long, weighing 78 kg
Stygimoloch’s appearance is very strange, like a sheep but not a sheep, like a deer but not a deer, the skull is very thick, the head has a hard semicircular parietal bone, and there are spike-like horns around it.
Stygimoloch also has a hard bony plate on its snout and a long, hard tail.
The odd headgear was likely a fighting weapon between males in a group, with the dome for a slam-dunk, and the horns for bumping into each other as a defensive weapon.
Despite its odd looks, the Stygimoloch from “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is an excellent tool dragon.
After being transported to the human world, the dinosaur named “Stiggy” not only helped Owen and Claire smash through the prison door, but also knocked out a lot of people who came to the auction.
The remaining Stygimoloch fled into the wild.
Baryonyx
Carnivorous, 2.5 meters high, 7.5-10 meters long, weighing 1.3-1.9 tons
Baryonyx is named after the large claws on its forelimbs. It is very different from other carnivorous dinosaurs. Except for the forelimbs that are not very degraded like other large theropod dinosaurs, the mouth and teeth are also similar to crocodiles, which may also be similar to crocodiles. fish for food.
The teeth and upper and lower jaws of Baryonyx are very similar to those of crocodiles, and it is very likely that it lived near the water, or dived into shallow water, and used its terrible claws to prey on crocodiles, much like a large grizzly bear.
Baryonyx’s teeth are conical, not the beef knife shape of ordinary carnivorous dinosaurs. They are not suitable for the role of predators, but they will eat dead dinosaurs.
After a volcanic eruption in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Claire and Franklin Webb (Justice Smith) find themselves trapped in a tunnel by a Baryonyx before they escape.
At the auction, one Baryonyx was transported by the buyer by plane, and the rest of the Baryonyx that were transported to the human world escaped into the wild.
Allosaurus
Carnivorous, 3.2-3.8 meters high, 10.4-12.1 meters long, weighs 2.3 tons
Allosaurus are very intelligent and will siege large prey, large and ferocious, combining the characteristics of a raptor and a crocodile.
Allosaurus wasn’t the largest of the carnivorous dinosaurs, but it had a more huntable body structure.
Its forelimbs are very sturdy, with three fingers on it, each with claws, which can tear apart prey effortlessly.
The tall and sturdy hind limbs can support its weight powerfully and make it move more agile. The thick tail can also be used as a whip, sweeping down any enemy that dares to attack.
Allosaurus in “Jurassic World” is just a hologram, kind of like a smaller version of Tyrannosaurus.
In the volcano escape scene in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, an Allosaurus was about to attack the glass ball Claire and Franklin were sitting on, but was crushed to death by lava rocks.
At the auction, a juvenile Allosaurus was transported in a truck by a buyer, and the rest of them that came to the human world fled into the wild.
Apatosaurus
Herbivorous, 6.1 meters high, 27.4 meters long, weighing 36-76 tons
Apatosaurus, like Brachiosaurus, is very large, with a thick and long neck and a thin and long tail.
During normal movement, the tail will leave the ground.
They are milder herbivores, with the back of their body higher than the shoulders, but when they stand on their back heels, they can be said to be towering. They may live in plains and forests and may travel in groups.
Apatosaurus is one of the largest creatures to exist on land, and its name is the Greek for “liar lizard” because of its herringbone bone that resembles Mosasaurus, the overlord of the sea.
In “Jurassic World”, Indominus Rex attacked the habitat of Apatosaurus and killed 5 of them. Owen and Claire watched the 6th seriously injured dinosaur die. It was only at this moment that humans realized that Indominus Rex did not kill for food. but for entertainment.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Apatosaurus has the same fate as many auctioned dinosaurs, who were transported to the human world and escaped into the wild.
Sinoceratops
Herbivorous, 3 meters high, 6 meters long, weighs 2.2-2.5 tons
When you see “Sino” in the name, you know that this dinosaur is from China. They lived in Shandong Province, China during the Late Cretaceous period. They are the first large-scale ceratopsian fossils discovered in China.
Sinoceratops look somewhat similar to Triceratops, except for the skull.
In “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, Sinoceratops was friendly to Owen, who would have been swallowed by magma if it hadn’t licked up the narcotic Owen.
After being transported to the human world to await auction, Sinoceratops escaped into the wild.
Dimorphodon
Carnivorous, 1m long, with a wingspan of 1.45m
Pterosaurs had two types of teeth, with longer teeth at the front of the jaw for piercing and smaller teeth at the back for catching food, probably suitable for fishing.
In “Jurassic World”, when Indominus Rex destroyed the airfield, the Dipterosaur was released to fly in the sky with Pteranodon.
One of the Dipterosaurs tried to attack Owen, but was shot by Claire.
Dipterosaur did not reappear in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, it is unknown whether it was re-extinct, or it escaped from Nublar Island like Dipterosaur.
In addition to these dinosaurs that have been fossilized by archaeologists and actually existed on our blue planet, the “Jurassic World” series also includes some hybrids created by Dr. Henry Wu (B.D. Wong). /hybrid transgenic dinosaurs—
Indominus Rex
Carnivorous, 5.5m high, 13.1-15.24m long
Indominus Rex comes from the “Jurassic World”. It was created because people want to see bigger and more ferocious dinosaurs. It has genes from ten animals such as Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, squid, tree frog, and viper. It combines ferociousness and cunning. .
But by nature living in a closed environment, it has no idea of its place in the biosphere.
It is grayish-white throughout, slightly larger than Tyrannosaurus, with front paws similar to Velociraptor, and a mouth that opens and closes greatly.
In the end, during the battle with Tyrannosaurus and Blue, Indominus Rex fell into the water and became food for Mosasaurus.
Indoraptor
Carnivorous, 3.1 meters high, 7.3 meters long, weighs 1.1 tons
Indoraptor is a new hybrid predatory dinosaur that appeared in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”. It has DNA of Indominus Rex and Velociraptor. It has spines like Indominus Rex, has sharp teeth and is much larger than ordinary Velociraptor. .
They can walk on all fours or on two legs like common carnivorous dinosaurs.
Because its genes are based on Velociraptor, it has a higher IQ than Indominus Rex, and can even make a human-like “laughing” expression.
In the end, under the combined attack of Blue and humans, Indoraptor fell on the sharp horns of Aguha Horned Dragon and was stabbed to death.
