Toda Erika and Mei Nagano star in the first trailer for their suspenseful film “母性”, in which they play mother and daughter, fresh from their roles in the Japanese drama “Police in a Pod”.
“母性” is based on a novel by Kanae Minato and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. The story is about a mother who finds her high school daughter dead after falling from a building at home, either by suicide or homicide.
Following the separate confessions of mother and daughter, the shocking truth emerges.
The film is scheduled for release in Japan on November 23.
