The School for Good and Evil,” a new Netflix adaptation of the popular novel, released its pilot trailer on Geeked Week, starring Sofia Wylie, Sophia Anne Caruso, Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington and Michelle Yeoh. Theron as Lady Lesso and Washington as Professor Dovey.

“The School for Good and Evil” is based on Soman Chainani’s novel of the same name, about best friends Sophie and Agatha, who discover where fairy tale characters go to school: The School for Good and Evil.
In this school, ordinary young boys and girls are trained to become fairy tale protagonists and villains.
Sophie always wanted to be a princess and knew she would be chosen by the “good” school to become an alumna of Cinderella, Snow White and other predecessors; Agatha, who has an eerie aesthetic and a naughty cat, seems to be a good fit for the “evil” school.
And then, they found a reversal of fortune: Sophie was absorbed into the evil school, Agatha into the good school.
But what if this mistake is just the first clue to discovering their true inner selves?
In this thrilling, comedic tale, the friendship between the two is tested and the only way out of the fairy tale is to experience it from start to finish.
“The School for Good and Evil” will be available in September.
