A few days ago, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ director Taika Waititi spoke about Natalie Portman’s return, Taika Waititi explained, “What we did with the previous ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ was, to make movie appeal to the actors, and when Christian Bale saw it, he said, ‘I want to do something interesting.’ …… Natalie too.”
Jane Foster, who was last seen in ‘Thor: The Dark World’ (and a deleted scene from ‘Avengers: Endgame’), will play the powerful Mighty Thor in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
As Waititi revealed, her role in the film was more exciting than the first two films is what made the return possible.
“She just wanted to make sure that …… I don’t know how to say this, but the character she played in the first two (Thor) movies was probably not the most exciting female character we would have liked to see from those movies,” Waititi said. “I had to tell her that we had to change the character, just like we changed Thor’s character in “Thor: Ragnarok” to give her more adventure and fun.”
‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be released in Northern America on July 8, 2022.
