According to Deadline, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’, distributed by Paramount Pictures, has surpassed $400 million at the global box office. As of Tuesday, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ has grossed $190.6 million in Northern America and a total of $400 million worldwide.
It is currently ranked eighth at the box office among films released worldwide in 2022, and the total box office will trend upward as the film will be released in Japan and Hong Kong, China.
So far, the top five overseas markets for ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ are the UK ($34.3 million), Mexico ($22.1 million), France ($17.3 million), Australia ($16.6 million) and Brazil ($12 million).
