Natalie Portman Workout for 10 Months for “Thor: Love and Thunder”

Natalie Portman in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ as Mighty Thor’s amazing muscles, her fitness trainer Naomi Pendergast recently revealed some details in an interview: Portman trained for a total of 10 months, including boxing, dumbbells and more.

Pendergast said the main parts of the training are the arms and abdomen. To ensure safety, Portman first underwent about four months of adaptation and conditioning to avoid overloading and joint damage.

The training started five months before the shooting started and was maintained during the shooting process, for a total of about ten months.

It consists of exercising the upper body three times a week, including arms, back and chest, performing exercises such as boxing, jumping and running, leaving two days dedicated to injury prevention work, including Pilates-based exercises, stretching exercises, relaxation sessions and balance exercises.

Portman did not suffer any major injuries throughout, except for some wrist and neck soreness, which could be relieved by massage.

The training time is about 1.5-2 hours per day, and if the shooting schedule is tight, it will start from 4:30 am.

Portman is vegan and eats a healthy, clean diet, and hasn’t changed much in that regard, adding some vegan protein powder daily to build muscle.
