All 9 episodes of ‘Stranger Things Season 4’ have been released, with a total of 9 episodes of content produced this season, several of which break 90 minutes in length, with the season finale reaching 2 hours and 20 minutes.
In a recent interview with the press, the Duffer brothers, creators of the show, revealed that ‘Stranger Things Season 5’, while still longer than earlier seasons, will not be similar to Season 4, and that they hope to conclude the series with eight episodes totaling about 10 hours of content episodes.
Matt Duffer said: “We thought at first that we could only do eight episodes in the fourth season, and that each episode would be of regular length. So if you had asked me that question before we created season four, I probably would have said that. Now I think the goal for season 5 is still 8 episodes and we don’t want it to be 13 hours long, we’re aiming for about 10 hours. I think it will be longer than Season 1, after all, there’s a lot of stuff to wrap up, but it shouldn’t be as long as Season 4.”
In addition, the Duffer brothers said that the fifth season script will begin writing in August, but they have already determined the direction of the plot.
And in the fifth season, Will will be a key character in the plot, occupying a lot of roles.
“Will is going to be a major character and focal point, and that’s all I can say about season 5 ……”
According to Netflix’s Total Hours Watched data report, ‘Stranger Things Season 4’ became the #1 English-language series on the platform within its first four weeks of airing.
