Thor: Love and Thunder’ has grossed over $400 million so far, but its reputation remains polarized. Many viewers, after seeing the movie, thought that in addition to the excessive comedy, the most unpleasant part of the film was the chaotic scenes that made people feel bored, to which a new report reveals why.
According to the cast and crew of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, director Taika Waititi did not follow the script at all when shooting ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, but instead improvised and let the actors improvise to create a sense of controlled chaos on purpose.
Taika Waititi also admitted most of the rumors in a recent interview with ‘Variety’.
He said, “We worked together and then I threw away my script, I had so many new ideas every moment, like Heimdall I had 3 new scenarios when I closed my eyes, so I just went in empty handed, without any words, shooting whatever came to my mind, I love that out of body state.”
But Taika Waititi also said that she did not fail to follow the script: “Although they said I was mostly right, there is one thing I need to clarify, the only thing we played on the fly was the dialogue and the action, but the overall backbone was still following an established story line before moving forward, which was absolute and could not be shaken, so in general We need to create chaos within a manageable range.”
If the director says so, it explains why some of the film’s dialogue does seem a bit out of place.
Especially Thor in the first half does not seem so “smart”, all this may have to be attributed to the director’s directing style.
And that brought ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ down sharply at the box office in its second weekend, and the movie’s rating to a B+ level, but it was still a fun time for many.
In addition, recently came out the news, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be in late August on Disney +, compared to the previous September Disney + day to a large part of the month earlier, is also considered a good news, we take our time together to look forward to it.
