Director James Gunn said that the tone of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” will be different from the previous ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ series because the story of the third installment is “much more mature”.
In an interview with GameSpot at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, James Gunn said the team’s final trip will be an emotionally charged adventure.
“It’s an incredibly touching story,” James Gunn said of the upcoming third installment. “In a way it’s a much more mature story than the prequels because, you know, when we started making these movies, they were 10 or 11 when they saw the first one, and now they’re 20 or 21. The movies grow up with them.”
