The new ‘Garfield’ animated film added a number of cast: Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, Cecily Strong, specific roles were not announced.
Chris Pratt voices the Monday-hating, lasagna-loving Garfield, and Samuel L. Jackson voices the brand-new character, Garfield’s father, Vic.
directed by Mark Dindal (‘Chicken Little’) and written by David Reynolds (‘Finding Nemo’), who collaborated on ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’. Comic creator Jim Davis executive produced.
The new ‘Garfield’ animated movie will be released in Northern America theaters on February 16, 2024, produced by Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Sony Pictures.
The ‘Garfield’ comic strip came out in June 1978 and follows the cynical, lazy orange cat as he interacts with his owner Jon Arbuckle and his adorable dog Odie.
