Jurassic World’ series actress Bryce Dallas Howard recently revealed in a Metro interview that studio executives had asked her to lose weight for ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’, and director Colin Trevorrow refused.
Howard said her weight was often a topic of discussion among studio executives, and before filming ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’, the demand that “we need to get Bryce to lose weight” came up again.
The film has many female characters, and director Trevorrow was careful to protect Howard, “(He responded to the request) by saying: there are many kinds of women on this planet, and there are many different kinds of women in our film.”
Howard also said: because she has a lot of action scenes in the film, if she has to diet at the same time, it will be difficult to complete these scenes.
She concluded by saying, “I was thrilled with all those action scenes I did and I was able to use my natural body to do those scenes and reach the peak of my physical strength, which I hope showed once again ‘what’s possible.”
