According to the BBC, the British department research, ‘Harry Potter’ in the popular character Dobby’s “resting place” will be temporarily reserved for tourists to take pictures to enjoy.
Domestic elf Dobby in the second part of the ‘Harry Potter’ debut, he is Harry’s partner and comrades, and eventually died to protect Harry.
Dobby’s resting place is located on the freshwater west coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales, where his death scene in the movie was filmed and a large wildlife sanctuary.
Since the movie’s release, a large number of fans have visited each year, leaving gifts and souvenirs including socks, trinkets and painted pebbles, but this has also turned the beach into a virtual garbage dump.
These souvenirs may enter the marine environment and food chain, causing pollution and harming wildlife.
Out of concern for the environment, the National Trust, which manages the beach, launched an eight-month study to consider whether Dobby’s grave should be removed or relocated.
Eventually, the governing body decided to allocate visitor facilities and paid parking near the beach to raise funds for environmental protection efforts to preserve Dobby’s memorial site.
