Disney’s new animated film ‘Strange World’ Northern America opened on Friday, box office performance was poor, the weekend 3 days Northern America box office received only $11.9 million, the holiday 5 days a total of 18.6 million, far less than the previous Disney animated film Thanksgiving performance.
Last year ‘Encanto’ opened with 27.2 million at the box office, in ’18 ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ got 56.2 million and in ’17 ‘Coco’ got 50.8 million.
‘Strange World’ collected $9.2 million outside of Northern America, with a maximum of 1 million in the UK and a cumulative 27.8 million worldwide.
