The Northern America market ushered in the Thanksgiving Day slot last weekend, but it was dismal overall, with a $92.9 million total not quite as good as last week’s $101 million and a five-day estimate of $133 million.
Compared to the $181 million for three days and $262 million for five days in the 2019 Thanksgiving season before the epidemic, the Northern America market is not talking about a full recovery.

But the main battleground for ‘Knives Out 2’ is still streaming Netflix, which will go live on Dec. 23.
Sony’s new release ‘Devotion’ opened in 3,405 theaters with $5.96 million in its three-day opening weekend and an estimated $9 million for the five-day Thanksgiving season, placing fourth.
For this war film with an investment of 90 million US dollars, this is a very unsatisfactory figure. The freshness of the film Rotten Tomatoes is 79%, the popcorn index is 93%, and the IMDb score is 7.0.
The thriller ‘The Menu’ got $5.2 million in its second week of release to rank fifth, and the film accumulated $18.67 million in Northern America and $33.47 million worldwide.
