10 Most Anticipated Hollywood Action Movies of 2022: Adrenaline Rush!

Action movies have always been a big-screen spectacle that makes people blood boil, so it has always been a popular movie type.

Whether it’s an emerging action star or an established action star, the adrenaline-pumping action movies they star in are flocking to fans.

There’s a good chance that some of the action movies coming out this year will be among the best in recent years.

There’s a bigger and better sequel, a new epic with an all-star cast, and an exciting action thriller, all coming in 2022.

“The Batman”

Unlike previous Batman films, Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” is a stand-alone story about Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) in his second year as vigilante, protecting Gotham from the Penguins (Colin Farrell). ornaments), and at the same time fight against his own demons.

However, with the emergence of a mysterious serial killer (Paul Dano) who calls himself The Riddler, Gotham is thrown into chaos and Batman has to face a test of wits.

Fans have been skeptical of “The Batman” ever since it was announced. The production was fraught with problems from the start, with audiences questioning Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of Batman.

However, after the first trailer was released in August 2020, the response was overwhelming.

The trailer suggests that Matt Reeves will tell a dark and gritty Batman story, but it also showcases Batman’s skills as a detective and martial artist.

On top of that, the production design is amazing, and that new Batman suit alone is enough to get everyone excited about the new generation of The Dark Knight.

“Uncharted”

The epic action-adventure game film “Uncharted” directed by Ruben Fleischer is about to hit the big screen.

The film will follow Tom Holland’s first adventure as protagonist Nathan Drake and his mentor Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).

Sully will take Drake into the dangerous and lucrative world of treasure hunting.

Game-based movies have been lackluster over the years, to say the least. Similar to “Uncharted”, “Tomb Raider” has tried many times, but it can hardly be called a success.

However, “Uncharted” is positioned as a prequel to the series, telling an origin story.

Since the first trailer was released last October, fans have been looking forward to Tom Holland’s role in the iconic game.

We hope that “Uncharted” doesn’t repeat the mistakes of game movies, and ultimately remains a thrilling and entertaining movie no matter what the reviews.

“The Northman”

Who wouldn’t love an intense, terrifying and extremely violent Viking revenge story?

“The Northman,” directed by Robert Eggers, follows the Viking prince Amleth (Alexander Skarsgård) as he witnesses his uncle (Claes Bang) kill his father (Ethan Hawke) and take his kingdom away.

After the catastrophe, Amleth devoted the rest of his life to revenge, always remembering his oath: “I will avenge you, father! I will save you, mother! I will kill you, Fjordunier!”.

The film will delve into revenge and Viking culture.

As you can see from the trailer, the film will undoubtedly feature epic action scenes and intense bloody fights.

Skarsgård looks terrifying in the trailer, and fans can’t wait to see the director of “The Lighthouse” bring out a dark Viking world like no other on the big screen.

“The Expendables 4‎”

When “The Expendables” came out in 2010, it was certainly refreshing to see such an action movie starring almost all the action heroes of the ’80s.

And the sequels build on that, with each sequel striving to cater to action movie fans and expanding the male cast.

The series is like an unofficial action star hall of fame, but it’s been eight years since the last film, and “The Expendables 4‎” clearly needs more stars.

Of course, audiences aren’t just watching movie stars, the “The Expendables” series is also known for its action scenes, and the fourth movie will no doubt be full of action scenes as well.

“Operation Fortune: Rue de guerre”

“Operation Fortune: Rue de guerre” is Guy Ritchie’s second crime film in two years and focuses on super spy Orson Fortune, played by Jason Statham, who has to recruit A-list star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to get close to a billionaire. Millionaire Arms Dealer.

Originally scheduled for release in March, the film was quietly pulled last month, perhaps to hide from “The Batman”.

Combining Guy Ritchie-esque crime comedy and dark comedy styles, the film is Ritchie and Statham’s fifth collaboration, and audiences will no doubt appreciate the pair’s familiar violent aesthetic and glamour look.

“Morbius”

The film is based on Marvel Comics and is directed by Daniel Espinosa.

The story revolves around scientist Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto), who is dying because of a rare blood disorder.

In a desperate self-healing experiment, Morbius was infected with a vampire trait, which gave him superhuman strength, speed, flight, and senses.

After multiple delays due to the pandemic, “Mobius” is finally set to hit theaters in April and join Sony’s cinematic universe.

Fans have also been speculating about the connection between “Mobius” and the Marvel Universe.

The film will tell the character’s creepy origin story, with action scenes that look dark and violent.

Either way, fans are looking forward to seeing Jared Leto play the terrifying antihero.

“Top Gun: Maverick‎”

With “Mission: Impossible 7” rescheduled again and delayed to 2023, there is only one “Top Gun: Maverick‎” left for Tom Cruise’s screen work this year.

And “Top Gun: Maverick‎” can also be said to be another “Mission Impossible” movie, Tom Cruise once again risked his life in this sequel, personally piloting a fighter plane and performing aerial stunts that have never been seen in the movie. .

Of the countless movies delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Top Gun: Maverick‎” has arguably suffered the most.

Because by the time the film finally came out, more than two years had passed since the original planned release.

“Bullet Train”

“Bullet Train”, directed by David Leitch and based on Kotaro Isaka’s novel “マリアビートル”, tells the story of a group of killers who gather on a bullet train in Japan.

As they began to approach their goals, they soon discovered that their respective tasks were closely related.

David Leitch has been executive director of the “John Wick” franchise and has also directed “Atomic Blonde”, “Deadpool 2” and “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw‎”.

With him as the director, “Bullet Train” has been guaranteed to be a hot, bullet-heavy action thriller.

And with an all-star cast (including Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, etc.), the film promises to be one of the best action films of the year.

“Extraction 2”

“Extraction 2” is one of the most anticipated action movies of the year, but it has the least information about it.

The film will continue the first, starring Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, and will be yet another modern action thriller with no boundaries.

The first “Extraction” quickly became Netflix’s most-watched original film of all time for its gritty action and intense fight scenes, putting Hemsworth at the forefront of modern action stardom.

Netflix has been tight-lipped about the details of the sequel, with Chris Hemsworth the only actor confirmed to be returning.

Judging from the photos taken, the background of “Extraction 2” seems to be more arctic, which is completely different from the hot and humid climate of Bangladesh.

Sam Hargrave is again directing, and this sequel will no doubt be as packed with action as the previous one.

“Ambulance”

As one of the main genres of modern action movies, one of the main characteristics of shootout films is that there are many more bullet holes than minutes in its limited duration.

In 2022, Michael Bay returns to action with the adrenaline-pumping action thriller “Ambulance.”

The story follows two adoptive brothers who rob a bank and then hijack an ambulance with a paramedic and a wounded police officer on board.

The trailer suggests it will be an unbridled action thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

The trailer is full of Michael Bay’s style, full of explosions, gunfights, and car chases, and the plot is based on that.

It looks like it’s going to be a thrilling entertainment experience from start to finish, and one can’t wait to see it soon.
