The annual epic blockbuster “Avatar: The Way of Water” is officially released in 4K IMAX version! This full-frame version of the trailer has 26% more frames than the regular version. The film also released a new poster at the same time.
The underwater world of Pandora is beautiful and dreamy. The story takes place more than ten years after the original work (thirteen years have passed in the real world).
The protagonists are Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Princess Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), who have moved to live near the water to avoid the threat of RDA mining operations.
The two had two sons and a daughter, and adopted a human son, Javier Socorro, nicknamed ‘Spider’. ‘Spider’ was born on Pandora’s base, but was too young to return to Earth, so was adopted by Jake and Neytiri.

Since the trailer for “Avatar: The Way of Water” came late after thirteen years, netizens who waited for gray hair made a meme:
Some extranet analysis and interpretation of this trailer and new film (some from producer interviews):
— In addition to the adopted human child “‘Spider'”, Jake and Neytiri’s three biological children are: Jamie Flatters’ son Neteyam, Brittan Dalton’s son Lo’ak, and Trine Dalton’s son. Brisbane’s daughter Tuktirey.
The adopted son’s nickname is “‘Spider'” because he climbs trees very slippery, similar to Na’vi, a native of Pandora.
— The Banshee in the second part (Banshee, a big flying bird that can connect with Na’vi with its tail), the color is different from the previous one, and it may be a different subspecies.
For example, this one may be Banshee in the water, while the first one is Banshee in the mountains.
— There are 15 tribes in Na’vi, Neytiri’s tribe is called Omaticaya.
“Avatar: The Way of Water” features another tribe on the planet Pandora, the Metkayina, whose habitat is mainly shore and rainforest. The character Ronald played by Kate Winslet is a member of this tribe.
When the hero and heroine’s family were in distress, they fled to their territory in the rainforest to seek refuge.
Since Jake is human, and because they have adopted human children, the process of being accepted by Metkayina may be difficult, and the two tribes may also draw swords due to the arrival of humans.
— Cameron is determined to create a new 3D cinematic wonder by shooting underwater.
Shooting in 3D can be more challenging due to the different weights underwater and the refraction of light.
There are a lot of pictures of Na’vi swimming underwater and playing among corals in the trailer. I wonder if the film will become a new technological milestone like the first film after it is released.
— Humans still haven’t completely abandoned Pandora, they still want to mine rare minerals.
The trailer shows that Jake has been trying to mediate between humans and Na’vi, which may be one of the reasons why he wants to adopt human children.
The mediation effort would eventually fail, mining continued, and the Jakes fled into the rainforest.
— In order to make Na’vi look different from humans, Cameron deliberately chose to give them blue skin in the first part, because green skin has appeared in other sci-fi works in the past.
The “Avatar: The Way of Water” trailer shows a green-skinned Na’vi, which seems to be a rarity for the Metkayina tribe, since this one is the only one in the entire trailer.
— In the first installment there is Toruk, which only Toruk Makto can conquer, the second most awesome beast is replaced by underwater, looking like a whale.
