According to IGN sources, ‘Blade’ star Mahershalla Ali was very disappointed with the film’s script.
The news comes from noted industry insider Jeff Sneider, who was told that the script for ‘Blade’ was about 90 pages long, with only a few action scenes, and Mahershala Ali expressed frustration about it.
Although the length of the script varies depending on the movie, generally speaking, each page of the script is one minute long when it’s finished. If Jeff’s information is correct, then ‘Blade’ for the Marvel movie may be a relatively short one.
Blade’ was scheduled for release on November 3 next year, and began shooting in Atlanta in November this year, and not long ago director Bassam Tariq officially announced his withdrawal from the film’s production.
It’s unclear what Marvel’s next steps are.
