According to gamesadar news, Bruce Willis recently sold his likeness rights to Deepfake, becoming the first celebrity to sell his likeness rights to a face-swapping company.
The actor’s image was recently used in a commercial for Russian cell phone operator MegaFon, but the actor himself never appeared on the set of the commercial.
In a statement on Deepfake’s official website, Bruce Willis said, “With modern technology, even though I was on another continent, I was able to communicate, work and participate in the shoot, it was a fun experience and I thank the entire team.”
Bruce Willis announced earlier this year that he would be retiring from the film industry after he was also diagnosed with aphasia.
