In a recent interview, Christian Bale talked about the experience of playing Batman, Bale said he enjoyed playing the role but worried that he would have a hard time removing the character filter: “For myself, I couldn’t be any character, but for some fans, seeing me made them think of Batman.”
The 47-year-old actor then said he would be more than willing to return to the role if asked by director Nolan, but that’s not likely in the near future.
Nolan is currently working on his next epic film ‘Oppenheimer’, while Bale has been busy with projects such as ‘Amsterdam’ and ‘The Pale Blue Eye’.
Christian Bale played Batman Bruce Wayne in the Christopher Nolan-directed ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy, which is considered the best comic book adaptation of all time.
