A few days ago, the ‘Presidential Medal of freedom’, the highest award for civilians in the United States, announced the current list of winners, including Denzel Washington, Steve Jobs, Simone Arianne Biles and a total of 17 others.
And recently at the White House awards ceremony, Washington did not appear to receive the medal (of course Jobs did not appear), ET and other media reports: the reason for Washington’s absence is that he recently tested positive for a new crown.
The award presenter, U.S. President Joseph Robinette Biden, was on hand to say he would give him a retroactive award afterwards: “There is one person who wanted to be there today but couldn’t: Denzel Washington, one of the greatest actors in American history. …… He can’t be with us today, but I’ll give him the award later when he can be here.”
