In fact, Henry Cavill did not want to give up the role of Superman, because it was playing Superman that made him completely on top of his life.
In particular, Superman is the most widely known superhero in the world, making him a superstar from the stars, and he is also the most suitable actor to play the role of Superman in the entire European and American circles.
In ‘Man of Steel’ and the two subsequent films, director Zack Snyder has created a Superman who has never been seen before and is full of charisma.
After Warner dropped Henry Cavill until now, they faced an awkward question, does he really want to come back?
Henry Cavill does still want to play the role of Superman, but what he wants is not just a cameo as Superman, he wants a movie starring Superman in the true sense of the word.
So he turned down Warner’s offer to guest star, but for Warner, Henry Cavill’s Superman had become necessary to execute a plan.
After all, without his role as Superman, Warner simply could not make the return of the DCEU in the true sense of the word.
So if Warner really wants to continue Zack Snyder director’s set, then Henry Cavill’s Superman return is just a necessity, the outcome of everything or to see the final decision made by Warner executives.
I believe that if they can come up with a movie, then Henry Cavill’s Superman will still return in a real sense.
