Today (August 19), according to media reports, Dwayne Johnson in an interview with Total Film magazine talked about the ambitions of the DC universe expansion and hopes that the DC universe will cross paths with the Marvel universe in the future.
He noted in the interview that ‘Black Adam’ could eventually pave the way for a spin-off crossover, both in this space (DC’s existing universe) and beyond, and possibly a crossover with the Marvel Universe.
“I’m optimistic,” he said with a laugh, “After all, I’m optimistic by nature, especially when it comes to movies and creativity and DC superheroes …… I hope that one day the DC Universe will intersect with Marvel’s superheroes and villains to intersect.”
Previously, DC and Marvel have appeared in the comics several times in the linkage, but never on the big screen collision sparks.
