Recently, Bella Ramsey, who will star as Ellie in ‘The Last of Us’, was interviewed by the media about her experience of acting in several major series at a young age, and the upcoming HBO game adaptation ‘The Last of Us’.
“I think people are going to love it (‘The Last of Us’ TV show). I know there will be people worried about its quality, and I can understand that: when something is so precious to you, as a viewer – a gamer – of course you’re going to be worried about the adaptation”, Ramsey said.
“But honestly, I think people will enjoy it. It follows the emotional beat and pace of the game to a large extent, and it maintains a respect for the game itself. (The live-action TV series brings) a whole new dynamic to it, and it explores different possibilities that aren’t covered much in the game. I do think people will enjoy it, I hope. It’s been a really fun experience to be involved in the making of the TV series, and I hope the audience feels it as they go on the adventure with us.”
The Last of Us’ live-action series is based on the game of the same name, with ‘Chernobyl’ producer Craig Mazin, ‘Game of Thrones’ producer Carolyn Strauss and ‘The Last of Us: Part II’ director Neil as series The Last of Us: Part II’ director Neil.
