“Eternals” has polarized reviews, but I’m more concerned about the film’s connection to the Marvel Universe

Marvel’s movie “Eternals” has been officially broadcast on the Internet platform, allowing more audiences to see the movie.

But the perception of this film is seriously polarized, and it seems that all audiences seem to have a similar phenomenon.

Some people say “Eternals” is excellent, others say it’s bad.

The movie has an audience score of only 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, a globally recognized movie rating site, and “Eternals” has created a new all-time low for a Marvel movie.

For this movie, some viewers said they couldn’t understand it, and some felt that the fighting power of these Eternals was too weak.

Some people feel that these Eternals have gone through thousands of years of human development, but their minds still seem to be so ordinary, not forming an incarnation of intelligence and so on.

These may be more or less reasonable, after all, everyone’s focus may be different, and I watch this movie more focus on its connection to the Marvel Universe movies.

Judging by the current time of the movie, it takes place after Endgame.

The Avengers are mentioned twice in the film, one of which is where Gilgamesh and Thena are in seclusion.

Chatting at their living room table about who will lead the Avengers after Iron Man and Captain America are gone.

The other is Ajak, the leader of The Eternals, who was sent to Earth this time, explaining why she didn’t want to destroy the Earth this time.

After all, as the boss of this batch of Eternals, she clearly knows the truth of this Earth mission.

But it is precisely because of the bravery, unity and selflessness shown by the Avengers in the war against Thanos, and more importantly, that they won this seemingly unwinnable war, she felt that the earth should not be destroyed by this. Choose to be on this side of the earth.

In addition to the direct connection between the two places above and the Avengers, another connection is Dane Whitman played by Kit Harington.

Although he is only a weak professor in the play, he will eventually become a member of the Avengers, appearing as Black Knigh.

As a descendant of King Arthur’s knights, the identity of the Black Knight is also inherited from generation to generation.

Speaking of King Arthur, it is easy to think of Merlin, magic, and many of Black Knigh’s weapons are blessed with magic.

I don’t know what Marvel will set up for this Black Knigh’s image and fighting style. Personally, I am very much looking forward to Kit Harington’s performance as Black Knigh in the Marvel universe.

Therefore, the development of “Eternals” by Marvel Studios may be more to make the scale of the Marvel universe larger and the story line more diverse.

This “Eternals” is just an introduction.

In addition to the above concerns in The Eternals, another point is the appearance of another Eternals Starfox in the easter egg.

He is not an ordinary Eternals, but an Eternals Supreme. But the most interesting identity is that he is the younger brother of Thanos.

Judging from the current situation, he is also out of the mission of the Celestial Race and is acting according to his own wishes.

Starfox is played by Harry Styles, who is said to have signed a five-film contract with Marvel. Presumably this role will have an important performance in the later Marvel universe movies.
