When it comes to the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’, there are still many fans of the show who are still upset about its ending. And recently in an interview, the original author George R. R. Martin said he was not involved in the production of the later episodes.
George R. R. Martin stated, “I’ve pretty much been out of it since season five, season five, six, seven, and eight.” And when asked why he was estranged from the show, he said, “I don’t know why, you’d have to ask Dan and David (‘Game of Thrones’ writers).”
The ‘Game of Thrones’ TV series had a lot of Martin’s involvement during the early scripting period, but his presence dwindled over time, and the season 8 finale even caused huge controversy.
Martin, on the other hand, admits that the plot line of the play version goes in a different and somewhat strange direction.
But the novel is not yet finished, which gives him the opportunity to present his own ending for the reader, which may imply that the ending of the novel will not be quite the same as the play version.
