Ghibli Park has announced that it will open on November 1, 2022 in Aichi-ken, Japan.
Ghibli Park will have a cafeteria street in “Spirited Away”, a walking path in “MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO”, a “Cat Office” in “The Cat Returns”, and “Castle in the Sky” and “Howl’s Moving Castle” Landscapes such as elevator buildings designed by Fantasy Science in Impression.
It is reported that the park covers an area of nearly 2 square kilometers (Beijing Universal Studios covers an area of about 4 square kilometers) and cost 1.875 billion yuan.
Three of them will open to the public in 2022.
The remaining two areas, “Princess Mononoke” and “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, are expected to open in 2023.
