Halo Season 1 has officially ended recently, and IGN gave the show a 7 point rating.
Reviewers found the ending a bit disappointing, but the non-stop fight scenes and the emotionally resonating characters were a success.
The ending of “Halo” didn’t hold up to the good momentum established by previous episodes, especially Episode 8, which seemed to set the stage for a massive war between the UNSC and Covenant.
But in the ending, all we see are some small conflicts.
The show does restore the game’s unique sci-fi combat style, even if some of the special effects are still weird.
Still, the ending gives those important characters a nice home.
