Yesterday, the ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off ‘House of the Dragon’ went live on the streaming platform HBO, and the influx of millions of users directly overwhelmed the app, with many viewers giving feedback about the software crashing.
HBO Max acknowledged the problem and teased that the only thing that could take down ‘House of the Dragon’ was itself.
It is understood that the HBO server had previously crashed during the opening of ‘Euphoria Season 2’ and the ‘Mare of Easttown’ finale due to a large influx of traffic in a short period of time.
House of the Dragon’ is a spin-off prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’, based on George Raymond Richard Martin’s ‘Fire & Blood’. The story takes place two hundred years ago, and its focus will be on House of Targaryen.
The story will follow the decline of the House of Targaryen and the family civil war known as ‘Danceof the Dragons’ in 10 episodes, now available on HBO Max.
