‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ is about to start, and although it tells the story of the Dragon family, it’s clear that the new show still has an element that will definitely not be cut out – sex.
Matt Smith, one of the show’s stars, recently spoke to Rolling Stone magazine and said in the interview that his character was involved in “a little too many sex scenes”.
Matt Smith: “You do find yourself asking, ‘Do we need to do another sex scene? And they say, ‘Yes, we do. I think you should ask yourself: “What are you doing?” Are you presenting the original, or are you diluting the novel to represent the times (we live in)?’ In fact, I think it’s your job to present the book truthfully and honestly.”
The ‘Game of Thrones’ series has been criticized for its level of nudity. Gemma Whelan, the actress who plays Yara Greyjoy in ‘Game of Thrones,’ called the show’s sex scenes “wildly confusing.
And “Daenerys Targaryen” Emilia Clarke said that after the ‘Game of Thrones’, she will not play nude scenes.
‘House of the Dragon’ will officially open on August 21, and is based on George Martin’s ‘Fire & Blood’, a story originally published in 2018.
Matt Smith will play Prince Daemon Targaryen, one of the main players in the ‘Danceof the Dragons’ conflict, which takes place hundreds of years before the ‘Game of Thrones’.
