As we all know, in “Thor: Love and Thunder”, Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, is back.
But this time she is no longer the scientist she was before, but instead lifts up Mjolnir and becomes “Mighty Thor”. In the first two trailers, you can also see her fighting in a battle uniform.
In the latest issue of Total Film, director Taika Waititi explains how “Mighty Thor” differs from Thor’s fighting styles.
“I mean, everyone who’s seen these comics will agree, ‘Mighty Thor’ is unbelievably cool.”
As for the difference in fighting styles between her and Thor, Taika Waititi said: “Her fighting style is completely different from Thor, you have to play to everyone’s strengths. And Natalie obviously dances, ballet and stuff, she There’s a dance feel to the fight, precision and fluidity. She’s not the way Chris does, she’s calm. He’s using a raw power…”
“Thor: Love and Thunder” Northern America is set for release on July 8 this year.
Thor is the fourth standalone film to feature the first and only superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
