Hugh Jackman will return to play Wolverine in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’.
And when Hugh Jackman began training for the role again, he revealed his muscles were too big for his clothes. The actor said he was shedding 1,500 calories a night, which began to affect his role in ‘The Music Man’.
After a year of performing in Broadway musicals, Hugh Jackman said goodbye to the stage in January, and while he was training for his return to star in the show, his oversized muscles caused his pants to split on stage.
But according to comicbook sources, his Wolverine body isn’t the only factor affecting his music career. He recently revealed on a BBC show that after so many years of playing the X-Men hero, his vocal cords were actually damaged.
“Playing Wolverine has taken some toll on my voice,” Hugh Jackman shared. “My falsetto isn’t as strong as it used to be, and I direct it as some growls and yells ……. My voice teacher at drama school would have been horrified by my behavior.”
