According to IGN, in an interview with “Vanity Fair”, actor Jake Gyllenhaal said that appearing in “Spider-Man: Far from Home” gave him a new perspective on acting and brought him back his love for the profession.
In the interview, Gyllenhaal marked joining the MCU as a turning point in his acting career.
He thinks that before that, he ignored the ease and stupidity in his heart, and often took himself and the role he was going to play too seriously, but acting in “Mysterio” made him rediscover the fun of acting.
Gyllenhaal said: “Being able to put the serious stuff aside and really be the actor I always wanted to be was great. I think we’re always going to go through a journey of finding ourselves in our lives, and for Spider -Man (Fighting Heroes), I think it made me realize ‘Hey, the show was really fun, enjoy it!'”
