James Cameron’s obsession with deep-sea exploration during ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ made the crew nervous

Titanic’ ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron recently revealed in an interview with the New York Times, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ during filming, he was once obsessed with deep sea exploration.

Cameron confessed that he had built a submarine and went to the deepest part of the Marianas Trench alone in 2012, which made the crew anxious.

“We’ve been worried if he’ll be back alive to continue making new movies.”

Happily, – Cameron seemed very pleased with the creation of the ‘Avatar’ sequel, saying that the story was richer than he expected and that the originally planned three films became a quadrilogy.

These changes forced the creators to do a lot of prep work: it took four years to create the story and five years to design the various biomes, cultures and costumes.

‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is a science fiction film directed by James Cameron, led by Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and starring Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, David Thewlis and Vin Diesel star in the sci-fi film, which opens in Northern America on December 16, 2022.

It is reported that the film is about 190 minutes long.
