Daniel Espinosa, director of Marvel’s new “Mobius” film, revealed some interesting facts about starring Jared Leto on set in an interview.
To get into the role of Michael Morbius, he used a cane and a wheelchair on the set of “Mobius”.
The director said: “I think Leto is understanding and feeling the pain of this character, because the character he played as Michael Morbius has been through this pain all his life.

Leto plays Michael Morbius, the eponymous protagonist of the Spider-Man spin-off film “Mobius”, who suffers from a blood disorder that leaves him debilitated, forcing him to use crutches to move around, until an infusion of vampire bat blood in a follow-up episode causes him to develop a supernatural ability.
Leto’s experience initially involved using crutches to move around the set, but for the crew, Leto used a wheelchair to speed things up.
This isn’t Leto’s first notable act on set, having sent a dead mouse to Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn, in a previous “Suicide Squad” movie to play “Joker.”
