Karen Gillan posted a makeup photo from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3” on the homepage of her personal social account.
The post shows Gillan’s face halfway up from the neck in Nebula makeup, with her mouth covered by her hands.
There appear to be several abrasions in various places from her forehead to the side of her neck.
Gillan also captioned the post: “I’m doing my 170th time wearing makeup and I still appreciate this cake.”
While plot details for the third (and final) “Guardians of the Galaxy” installment are still difficult to pin down, the film’s image of the battle-hardened Nebula appears to match the dark tone that writer-director James Gunn previously indicated.
“It’s a big deal,” he said in January. “It’s just too big, it’s too dark, it’s not what people think…I just want to stay true to the characters and the story and give the audience the ending they deserve.”

Co-star Zoe Saldana, who plays Nebula’s older sister Gamora, recently set a high bar for season three.
“I think it’s going to be the best one yet,” she said in an interview. She also called the shoot “a bittersweet moment because we thought it was going to be the last of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.”
So in that sense it’s bitter but it’s sweet because we’re all so grateful to be on this journey together and James Gunn has really given us a beautiful ending and the story is really Attractive. “
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is more than a year away from its release, but viewers may not have to wait that long to see the team in action.
“The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” is in the works and is expected to hit theaters later this year, and James Gunn joked that he liked the script.

This year, Disney+ will also launch the cartoon “I am Groot”.
Earlier, in a video that aired at Disney’s 2022 shareholder meeting, little Groot appeared.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Groot was last seen in a series of animated shorts directed by Kirsten Lepore.
Vin Diesel, who voiced all MCU versions of Groot, will once again voice the series.
Although there is no specific release date for the two works, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3” has been confirmed to be released on May 23, 2023.
Loki may return to the Marvel Universe sooner than expected
The actor who voiced Loki in the MCU’s German dub confirmed that he’s working on a new movie in which he plays the God of Mischief, but he didn’t specify which movie he’ll be starring in.
Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was last seen in the Disney+ series of the same name, which was released last year.
In the show, a non-universe version of Loki escaped from the Avengers after the Battle of New York and had to temporarily work with the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organization destroyed in order to protect the “sacred timeline” multiple parallel universes.
As the plot unfolds, Loki joins forces with his other variant, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), to stop the group and its mysterious leader.
At the end of the episode, Loki appears to be left on another version of TVA, and the main timeline is completely disrupted.
It’s not entirely clear which film is being filmed, but there should only be two possible options: Doctor Strange 2 and Thor: Love and Thunder.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will introduce some variants of Marvel’s main characters, and there have been reports of Loki appearing in the Doctor Strange sequel.
As for “Thor: Love and Thunder”, Loki has appeared in all of the major films in the “Thor” series, so it seems likely that Loki will appear in one of them.
That being said, Hiddleston made it clear last year that he would not be in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
Loki is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.
Loki first appeared in 2011’s “Thor” as the film’s villain.
He later played the main villain in “The Avengers” in 2012.
After that movie, however, Loki became more ambiguous morally and ended up working with Thor several times.
In 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War”, the character died fighting Thanos.
Season 1 of Loki is now available on Disney+. Currently, a release date for the second season has not been set.
Kevin Feige is interested in “Moon Knight”
At the recent “Moon Knight” red carpet premiere, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared how desperate he is to finally see “Moon Knight” in the Marvel Universe, admitting that he It’s been a while since I wanted to do a live-action film for this character.
“I’m so glad you got to see Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and the full cast of ‘Moon Knight,'” Feige said in a video. “I’ve been thinking about making ‘Moon Knight’ into a movie or TV series for a long time, and we’re premiering it tonight, and I’m so glad you guys got to see it.”
Isaac will play the titular hero and his alter ego Marc Spector – a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder.
Isaac explained how his view of Moon Knight as one of the characters baffled Feige, and despite Isaac’s completely unscripted interpretation of the character, Feige ultimately endorsed the actor.
Isaac explained in an interview: “They didn’t know what the hell I was doing, and they weren’t sure if it was going to work. But you know, I’m glad I did it in the end because everyone said it made the show more feature.”
Isaac details his journey to play the character’s dual identities, and he talks about how his family helped him create a unique voice for Marc Spector and his easily confusing character Steven Grant.
“The first step was to ask my brother Michael Hernandez to be a different me,” Isaac said. “It’s the closest thing on earth to me, and he’ll play Steven or Marc, even with accents and Anything else, there are two accents. So it really helps to have someone who is not only a great actor, but also performs with an actor who shares my genes.”
Feige isn’t the only one interested in “Khonsu,” with the show’s director Mohamed Diab expressing his anticipation for more “Moon Knight” stories over the next decade.
“I could see ‘Moon Knight’ for the next 10 years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not just the next movie,” Diab said.
“He’s a really fun character. He’s probably the funniest character of all the actors. Isaac is doing a great job and people like him already from the trailers. I think the show will resonate with people , so I think he’s going to be here for a long time.”
“Moon Knight” will premiere on Disney+ on March 30 with six episodes.
